Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing of a patient with herpes zoster complicated with Ramsey Hunt syndrome

This article summarizes the experience of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing for a patient with facial herpes zoster complicated by Ramsey Hunt syndrome. According to the basic theories of Traditional Chinese Medicine, suitable techniques such as pricking and cupping, wet compress with Arnebia Root oil, Thunder-fire moxibustion, and auricular acupuncture treatment had been implemented for the patient. The integrative nursing interventions effectively improved the patient’s clinical symptoms, promoted the disappearance of herpes, reduced pain and anxiety, and improved the patient’s comfort and life quality. (本文总结了1例面部带状疱疹并发拉姆齐-亨特综合征患者的中西医结合护理经验。基于中医基本理论, 采用刺络拔罐、紫草油湿敷、雷火灸、耳针穴位治疗等中医特色适宜技术对患者进行护理干预, 同时配合心理护理、睡眠管理、感染护理等常规护理, 有效改善患者的临床症状, 加速疱疹消退, 减轻疼痛, 促进面瘫恢复, 缓解患者的焦虑情绪, 进而提高患者的舒适度和生活质量。)
