Application of Chinese herbal medicine ointment combined with thumbtack needle therapy and nursing for a patient with hiccup and nausea with phlegm-heat obstructing the lung syndrome

This paper summarized the nursing management for a patient with hiccup and nausea with phlegm-heat obstructing the lung syndrome treated with Chinese herbal medicine ointment combined with thumbtack needle therapy. Based on the nursing assessment and Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome differentiation, the Chinese herbal medicine ointment combined with thumbtack needle therapy was carried out to reduce the frequency of occurrence hiccup and nausea and improve the recovery of the patient.
