Introduction: Skin aging in the periorbital region stands out for being both early and noticeable, leading to increasing interest in minimally invasive aesthetic therapies. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) in facial rejuvenation, considering their effects on wrinkle reduction. Methods: The methodology followed the PICO model to guide the search in the PubMed and SciELO databases between 2018 and 2024.Results: Ten interventional studies that met the inclusion criteria were selected. The results showed that both PRP and PRF provided significant aesthetic benefits, including improved skin texture, firmness, and reduction of aging signs. Moreover, they demonstrated high safety and good patient acceptance. Conclusion: Autologous platelet concentrates represent effective and safe strategies for facial rejuvenation treatment, being recommended as viable alternatives to invasive procedures. Further studies comparing the types of concentrates and application protocols are needed.
