Analysis of the Relationship between Core stability and Anaerobic power of Taekwondo Free Poomsae Athletes
Rather than comparing the differences in core stability and anaerobic power of Taekwondo freestyle players by gender, the lower extremity anaerobic power is a very important factor in expressing instantaneous power and strength, so we will analyze the relationship between anaerobic power and core stability and present the relationship by gender. Anaerobic power and core stability are physical factors necessary for athletes to improve their performance, so analyzing the relationship between stability and power can contribute to organizing a training program, and it can also contribute to presenting an efficient training program by gender. For this study, 10 men and 10 women were selected, and core stability was measured using CENTAUR (CENTAUR 3D System, Bio Feedback Motor Control, Germany), and lower body anaerobic power was measured using Excalibur Sport (Lode For Life, Netherlands). Statistical processing was performed using the SPSS 29.0 program, independent t-test, and multiple regression analysis. The statistical significance level was set at p<.05. As a result of this study, there was no significant difference in core stability by gender in Taekwondo freestyle poomsae athletes, and core stability and anaerobic power were examined separately for men and women, but no significant interaction was found. Through this study, it was judged that training to strengthen core stability for the accuracy and completeness of movements, which are the scoring criteria for freestyle poomsae athletes, and training methods to improve anaerobic power, which is essential for continuous and rotational kicks and acrobatic movements that determine the difficulty of kicking, are highly meaningful training program compositions for freestyle poomsae athletes.
