Au-Cu2O Janus plasmonic catalysts on NiCoS heteroelectrodes achieve 16-fold enhanced OER activity
We designed an Au-Cu2O Janus plasmonic heterostructure coupled with NiCoS nanosheets for oxygen evolution reaction (OER). The anisotropic Au-Cu2O interface enables directed charge transfer, yielding a 16× higher photocurrent than pure NiCoS at 660 nm (100 mW/cm2) and a reduced overpotential (175 vs 317 mV dark) at 100 mA/cm2.
