CONCEPT ANALYSIS OF EDUCATIONAL STRATEGIES ON TUBERCULOSIS IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Objective: to analyze the concept of educational strategies on tuberculosis in higher education. Methods: This is a concept analysis, based on the theoretical-methodological framework of Walker and Avant, and operationalized through an integrative review with a search carried out on January 3, 2023. Results: the attributes of the concept were: practical activities; understanding of tuberculosis; knowledge of the current reality of tuberculosis; academic teaching and professional training. Its antecedents were: low knowledge of tuberculosis among undergraduate health students and tuberculosis as a global disease. As consequences of the concept, the following were identified: higher level of knowledge about tuberculosis among undergraduate health students; better academic and professional training; among others. Conclusion: educational strategies on tuberculosis in higher education consist of a set of practical activities that facilitate understanding of tuberculosis in the academic environment and insert students into the current reality of the disease, with positive impacts on professional training.
