P-23 Efficacy and safety of accelerated trans-epithelial iontophoretic corneal collagen cross-linking (accelerated i-CXL-TE) in young patients with progressive keratoconus: 9-year follow-up
Despite a regular corneal surface his vision was limited by a very large angle alpha affecting topography. This was successfully managed with a scleral contact lens.A second case of high angle alpha affecting topographic outcome is also presented.Summary Where possible angle alpha/kappa should probably be evaluated prior to anterior keratoplasty.Current expert opinion on this assessment technique as well as graft centration is sought.
