An Improved uRLLC System Based on Mini-Slot FH for Industrial Control Networks
The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is an important application scenario for the high-reliability and low latency communication (uRLLC) in B5G/6G era. However, the signal processing in the existing B5G networks is incapable to combat the jamming over the complex electromagnetic surrounding. To address this issue, this paper proposes the frequency-hopping (FH) based configurable multi-carrier system to enhance the anti-jamming and the transmission reliability. Meanwhile, in the aspect of re-transmission scheduling, the minislot scheduling strategy raised firstly in the latest R17/R18 versions is proposed to integrate with FH multi-carrier (MC) signals, that is, an enhanced uRLLC scheme based on FH-MC and mini-slot HARQ re-transmission. The simulation shows that the proposed uRLLC system can obtain the transmission reliability rate with 99.999 % and the air-to-air (re)transmission latency with millisecond level under the complex jamming situation. The proposed uRLLC provides a more reliable and lower latency communication system for the application of B5G uRLLC in industrial control networks.
