An Identification-Oriented Network-Layer Secure Service Based on Multidimensional Identifiers
Identity Service (ID Service) is an efficient communication model that provides identity-specific device communication services. However, traditional TCP/IP networks face challenges in implementing ID Service, such as low resource utilization and limited adaptability to diverse application demands. The multidimensional identifier network architecture offers semantically rich identifiers at the network layer, enabling precise representation of network entities and supporting efficient and flexible communication services. This paper proposes an ID Service mechanism based on a multidimensional identifier architecture, featuring the design of identifier structures and addressing mechanisms, while incorporating Secure Hash Algorithm for Keccak (SHAKE-128) and Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) algorithms to ensure communication security. Prototype system validation demonstrates that this architecture significantly improves the efficiency and flexibility of ID Service, offering robust support for diverse future communication needs.
