Analysis of the Connectivity Protocols to the Internet of Things and Impacts on Precision Agriculture Practiced in Open Spaces
Concerning the transition in this paper, it was done by using IoT networking protocols in precision farming in open air circumstances. It entail the application of technologies which enables enhancement of crop production at the field level due to better organisation of the inputs. Decision-making is improved when a connection of IoT devices occurs, and it is possible to receive information on real-time information collection and processing that works with accuracy. The current paper seeks to investigate three norms in IoT networking which includes LoRaWAN, NB-IoT and Zigbee in as much as they affect the key indicators of the farming practices such as moisture, temperature, pests, diseases and Yields. Here, the main research question is to identify the IoT protocols that optimize the communication between the various elements of smart agriculture. Also, the project quantifies factors like scalability, energy, and dependability of these protocols in poor outdoor conditions. It must be beneficial for farmers and agronomists and increase the awareness of new IoT technologies that would improve sustainable agricultural practices. Therefore, the present work is used to contribute and further smart farming strategies through the use of inclusive analytic procedures paired with field application. In the long run, it seeks to improve productivity of the available resources in agriculture and their utilization in the most efficient way besides protecting the natural environment. This is because the proposed project and its execution will generate novel results such as a solid IoT-based monitoring framework for crop conditions, the development of an analytical environment for gaining tangible insights into data analytics as well as the integration of IoT devices for improving crops' situation and production rates. As for the precise or smart farming supplemented with IoT technologies, it is imperative to consider certain points to especially restore the need for such development concerning its usage in the future and provide the basic ground for the environmentally sustainable and highly efficient agriculture.
