Multi-Hop and Multi-Path Computation Offloading for Integrated Access and Backhaul Networks Assisted by Multi-relay UAV

With the development of mobile technologies and the rapid increase in Internet - of - Things (IoT) devices, users' requirements for network service quality are getting higher and higher. However, network resources and the computing power of user devices are limited. There is an irreconcilable contradiction between the two aspects. Therefore, this paper proposes a multi-hop and multi-path computing offloading scheme in integrated access and backhaul (IAB) networks assisted by multi-relay unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The scheme offloads user computing tasks in two parallel paths, accelerating the user request rate. Then, an optimization problem with the object of minimizing the processing delay of user tasks is established, and an adaptive genetic algorithm is proposed. Simulation results show the proposed scheme in this paper can converge quickly and can reduce the delay by up to 34.2% compared with existing schemes.
