A Reversible and Verifiable Image Data Hiding Scheme Based on SM4
Data hiding has emerged as an effective technique for transmitting secret information on the cloud, however, in practical applications, it is difficult to balance the security and concealment of sensitive image data, the existing encryption algorithms are difficult to balance the simplicity, security, efficiency and verifiability. To address these issues, this paper proposes a reversible and verifiable image data hiding scheme based on the national secret algorithm and Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT). The proposed scheme utilizes SM4 to encrypt sensitive image data, hash the verifiable data using SM3 to generate noise-like images and hash values. Then, the ciphertext image and hash data are embedded into the carrier image processed by discrete wavelet transform through the least significant bit algorithm, which realizes the integrity and authenticity verification of the ciphertext data without affecting the quality of the image. Meanwhile, the proposed scheme ensures the security and concealment of the image data. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme has high security and effectiveness.
