IoT-Driven Vehicle Tracking: Approach for Real-Time Navigation Management
Vehicle tracking requirement is one of major components in the development of the smart transportation systems since safety, logistics efficiency is demanded higher and demand for intelligent mobility will be the solution. This paper is focused on the design and implementation of a smart vehicle tracking system, that used both GPS and GSM modules with the help of ESP32 Microcontroller. It can capture GPS location, send data to GSM communication channels through the ESP32 for remote server or user device monitoring. In tackling the prevalent difficulties such as assured data transmission quality, reliable network connectivity in low signal areas, and improving the energy performance, this work will offer a robust and scalable solution. The task system illustrates the potential ESP32 has as a low cost, energy effective and broad platform for contemporary IOT usecases especially when it comes to Vehicle Tracking reliability and experience. The vehicle location in the form of longitude and latitude can be viewed on cloud, where a proper fleet management system can be handled.
