Study on UAV-borne SAR Image Mosaic Method in Electronic Countermeasure
The analysis of the actual needs and important role of UAV-borne SAR image mosaic in electronic countermeasure missions, in view of the characteristics of UAV-borne SAR imaging, proposes a SAR image mosaic method suitable for both interference-free and interference conditions, and designs a UAV-borne SAR image mosaic process. This method first uses a wavelet transform-based algorithm to denoise the SAR images to be spliced, and then uses a SIFT feature matching-based algorithm to register the SAR images, analyzes and designs the implementation steps of the registration algorithm, and completes the registration. The results are judged from the three aspects of root mean square error, maximum error, and matching correct rate. The SAR images that fail the confidence judgment are calculated using the auxiliary data recorded in the radar echo for image base point coordinates and then complete the position matching. Then, the adjacent frame SAR images that have been matched are spliced, and finally, the image gray level at the splice is seam-fused. Verification with measured data shows that this method can achieve better splicing effects on UAV-borne SAR images.
