Crypto-currencies and Blockchain: A Mathematical Perspective on Their Evolution

Now-a-days, crypto-currencies are so much hyped like Bitcoin, Ethereum etc. But most of the users are unaware of their foundation. Science and mathematics are used behind these digital currencies; which are revolution in the world of technology. In order to fulfil this gap, this research article has been produced to explain the mathematics behind the crypto-currency and blockchain technology. The scope of this research is to highlight the essence of cryptographic algorithms which are solely based upon mathematics as well as to show the importance of mathematics in the perspective of blockchain technology.
