Abstract

Neuromorphic computing presents a paradigm shift in robotic intelligence with unparalleled biomimicry of biological neural organization. This paper presents a novel event-driven paradigm shattering von Neumann bottlenecks with spike-timing-dependent plasticity, dendritic computation, and homeostatic regulation mechanisms. The unique architecture demonstrates quantifiably superior- 75 % less energy consumption <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$(\eta=0.75), 43 \%$</tex> shorter adaptation time with optimal plasticity coefficients (<tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\Pi>0.7$</tex>), and 87 % decision accuracy in uncertain conditions. By integrating asynchronous processing into hierarchical recurrent connectivity patterns based on cortical microcircuits, this innovation radically redefines robotic perception and autonomous interaction. Even with fabrication constraints on neural density to <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$10^{\wedge} 6$</tex> neurons/chip, this paper is a radical step toward constructing truly intelligent, context-aware artificial systems.
