Error Correction of Three-Axis Magnetic Sensor System
This paper investigates the system error correction method for triaxial magnetic sensors in a magnetic gradient tensor system, with the aim of improving the accuracy and reliability of magnetic target detection. The current magnetic gradient tensor measurement system faces high demands for equipment precision and magnetic interference issues, making accurate correction of sensor system errors crucial for ensuring measurement accuracy. This paper proposes a correction method combining particle swarm optimization (PSO) and ellipsoid fitting algorithms, and validates its effectiveness through simulation analysis. The study shows that the composite algorithm achieves significant improvements in system error correction accuracy compared to using the particle swarm optimization or ellipsoid-fitting algorithm individually. Simulation results indicate that the composite algorithm consistently exhibits lower Mean Absolute Error (MAE), effectively reducing measurement errors. Finally, this paper looks forward to exploring the possibility of combining various constraint optimization algorithms with ellipsoid fitting algorithms to further enhance the precision and efficiency of magnetic sensor system error corrections.
