Cyber-Twin Empowered Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Assisted Mobile Edge Computing Network: Application and Challenges
The integration of Cyber-twin technology with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in Mobile Edge Computing MEC networks presents a novel para-digm for enhanced data processing and communication capabilities. This re-search investigates the application potential and associated challenges of such a system. Cyber-twin technology enables the creation of virtual representations of physical assets, allowing for real-time monitoring, analysis, and decision-making. When coupled with UAVs, it facilitates dynamic data collection and transmission, making it invaluable for various applications such as disaster management, surveillance, and environmental monitoring. In this study, we explore the synergy between Cyber-twin technology, UAVs, and MEC networks, emphasizing their combined advantages in terms of data processing efficiency, reduced latency, and improved scalability. However, several challenges need to be addressed, including security concerns, resource allocation optimization, and integration complexity. Through a comprehensive review and analysis, this article highlights the potential applications of Cyber-twin empowered UAV-assisted MEC networks and provides insights into the challenges that must be overcome to realize their full potential. This research contributes to advancing the understanding and development of next-generation mobile computing and communication systems.
