RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES IN THE CONTEXT OF FINANCIAL INSTABILITY AND DIGITAL CURRENCIES
This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of risk management strategies in the context of increasing financial instability and the widespread use of digital currencies. Using an interdisciplinary approach, the author draws on key sociological concepts, including Ulrich Beck's theory of "risk society", Anthony Giddens's idea of reflexive modernization, Manuel Castells's network paradigm, and the concept of algorithmic authority, to understand the nature of new risks and the transformation of trust institutions. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of institutional solidarity, social reflexivity, the formation of algorithmic trust systems and the crisis of traditional risk assessment models. The empirical material includes an analysis of cases related to the collapse of Terra/LUNA, the actions of institutional investors, regulatory responses and socio-technical adaptations of financial organizations. The article emphasizes that effective risk management in the digital era requires not only technical solutions, but also social engineering built on trust, transparency and cooperation of financial network participants.
