Integrasi Etnomatematika dalam Pembelajaran Matematika: Konteks Rumah Adat Ogan Komering Ulu

Ethnomathematics is a combination of cultural elements and mathematical concepts that aims to introduce both in an integrated manner. One example of the application of ethnomathematics can be found in the traditional houses of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), which have architectural designs and ornaments rich in cultural and historical values. However, in reality, learning tools that utilize the local wisdom of the surrounding community are still rare. The purpose of this study is to uncover the philosophical meaning and mathematical concepts contained in the buildings of traditional OKU houses through an ethnomathematics approach, while simultaneously developing ethnomathematics-based Student Worksheets (LKPD). This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Meanwhile, the development of the LKPD is carried out using a design research approach of the development studies type. The results of the study reveal that traditional OKU houses are not only visually beautiful, but also contain mathematical concepts that are integrated with philosophical values that represent local wisdom and the balance between humans and nature. The test results obtained from students show a completion rate of 80%.
