PROSPECTIVE STUDY ON THE ANALYSIS OF THE FREQUENCY OF COMPLICATIONS IN MANDIBULAR ANGLE FRACTURES
Fractures of the mandible are among the most common injuries in maxillofacial surgery, accounting for a significant proportion of all facial bone fractures. These fractures are often accompanied by inflammatory complications, requiring a comprehensive treatment approach, including modern drugs and fixation methods. This article presents the results of a retrospective and prospective study aimed at improving the treatment of open fractures of the mandible using Collapan granules and Nicomede D3. The studies showed that the use of these drugs significantly reduces the frequency of infectious-inflammatory complications and accelerates bone tissue recovery. The article also discusses osteosynthesis methods and treatment features based on the type of fracture.
