Perfil competencial docente en el primer nivel de la formación profesional: estudio de caso
The first level of Vocational Training in Spain has different characteristics and objectives with respect to other educational stages due to the idiosyncrasy of its students. A case study is carried out to evaluate: teaching practice, development of competences and methodologies used in a concerted educational center in Pamplona (Navarra) between 2009-2024. The objective is to analyze the teaching competency profile of the Basic Grade Vocational Training in Administrative Services. The data collection uses: semi-structured interviews with experts, two Focus Groups (with teachers and graduate students respectively), an ad hoc questionnaire and documentary analysis of legislative texts. The results highlight the importance of a teacher competence profile that requires educational support interventions in a double academic and socioemotional dimension, with special emphasis on the latter. This double profile favors learning environments that facilitate the development of personal and professional competencies in students.
