Relationship between Self-efficacy Types and Life Satisfaction of Re-employment Injured Workers
The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of the type of self-efficacy of re-employed injured workers on life satisfaction. For this, data from the 5th year (2022) of the 2nd cohort of the Panel Date of Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance were used. As a result of the analysis, first, as a result of the latent profile analysis on the self-efficacy of re-employed injured workers, three types(low self-efficacy group(C1), intermediate self-efficacy group(C2), and high self-efficacy group(C3) were finally selected. Second, as a result of multinomial logistic analysis, it was found that the higher the re-employed injured workers hold a certificate(O.R.=1.391) and the higher the current job performance ability(O.R.=1.163), the higher the likelihood of belonging to the intermediate self-efficacy group(C2) compared to the lower self-efficacy group(C1). The better the health status(O.R.=1.707) of re-employed injured workers, the more experienced they have using vocational rehabilitation services(O.R.=1.788), and the higher they have a certificate(O.R.=1.527), the higher their earned income(O.R.=2.245), the higher their self-efficacy group(C3) than the lower self-efficacy group(C1). It was found that the shorter the nursing period(O.R.=0.840) and the higher the earned income(O.R.=1.874), the higher the self-efficacy group(C3). Third, as a result of multiple regression analysis, it was analyzed that the higher the final education level of re-employed injured workers, the better their health status, the longer their nursing period, and the higher their current job performance ability, the higher their life satisfaction. In addition, it was analyzed that the more men and the more they lived in the metropolitan area, the lower their life satisfaction. Among the types of self-efficacy of re-employed injured workers, it was confirmed that the lower they belong to the 'low self-efficacy group' compared to the 'middle self-efficacy group' and, on the contrary, the higher they belong to the 'high self-efficacy group', the higher their life satisfaction. This study is meaningful in that it classified the characteristics of re-employed injured workers by type of self-efficacy and provided basic data for the development and application of differentiated self-efficacy programs. In particular, the aspect of returning to work for re-employed injured workers is also important, but it is also significant in that it has verified the importance of psychosocial factors such as self-efficacy to improve their life satisfaction.
