A new synonym of Paragnetina flavotincta (McLachlan, 1872) (Plecoptera: Perlidae) with notes on Paragnetina lacrimosa Klapálek, 1921

Holotypes of two earlier described species of Paragnetina Klaplek, 1907 known from China, P. neimongolica Yang & Yang, 1996 and P. lacrimosa Klaplek, 1921 were re-examined and re-illustrated. We consider P.neimongolica a subjective junior synonym of P. flavotincta (McLachlan, 1872).

Abstract

Holotypes of two earlier described species of Paragnetina Klaplek, 1907 known from China, P. neimongolica Yang & Yang, 1996 and P. lacrimosa Klaplek, 1921 were re-examined and re-illustrated. We consider P.neimongolica a subjective junior synonym of P. flavotincta (McLachlan, 1872).
