AS POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS EM EDUCAÇÃO DO MUNICÍPIO DE CAMETÁ AVANÇOS E DESAFIOS

The trajectory of the implementation and reformulation of public policies in education in the municipality of Cametá-PA reveals the need to meet social demands by offering quality public services. The article aims to analyze the impacts of these public policies as an instrument for changing the local reality. It is necessary to contextualize the locus of the research to understand the reality of the municipality of Cametá/PA, its importance within the regional context and its social development. The research methodology of this article presents a qualitative perspective, of the bibliographic type, of an interpretative nature, carried out in articles, books and legislation that deal with the subject. The research allowed the perception that the reformulation of laws and implementation of programs over a decade sought to improve the local reality by creating education policies in a municipality with a particular geographic composition. The Transforma Cametá Education Program is an example of a public policy that has been consolidating in the municipality and changing the reality of education, through the improvement of the physical infrastructure of the municipal network, overcoming geographical barriers; the islands, distant and difficult-to-access places in the municipality are receiving direct investments, a way of benefiting all citizens equally.
