In paper production, the vacuum system plays an important role in the production process. The most important role of the vacuum system is in the process of dehydration of the paper pulp. In order to speed up the drying process and reduce energy consumption, vacuum is used to extract water from the paper pulp. The modernization of the vacuum system on the paper machine at Natron Hayat has brought significant savings in electricity consumption, savings in industrial water consumption, lower maintenance costs, less downtime in production and greater control over the process. The aim of this paper is to present the advantages of installing a turboblower compared to the previous vacuum system with vacuum with water ring and to show the concrete benefits of this significant investment
