Measurement of competitiveness: a necessary micro-systemic analysis based on the management of organizations
The measurement of competitiveness in organizations has been studied from different systemic approaches with limited attention to micro analysis, that focused on organizational management. This article highlights the relevance of this approach, identifying research that has in some way considered management as a key element to strengthen competitiveness. Through a qualitative methodology based on a literature review, the need for new methodological approaches that integrate the contingencies of the environment with internal management is evident. The findings highlight that this approach not only favors strategy and decision-making but also promotes more competitive management. It also contributes to defining metrics with more comprehensive systemic approaches, expanding the possibilities of adaptation and sustainability in dynamic scenarios.
