Formation of investment potential for sustainable development of agricultural organizations
Investment activity has a significant impact on the effectiveness of agriculture and the formation of the trajectory of sustainable development. The purpose of this study was a statistical assessment of the state, trends, features and areas of expansion of the investment potential of agricultural organizations. In the article, the use of appropriate econometric and statistical methods using time series data for the period 1999-2023 made it possible to establish that, against the background of the growth in investment costs achieved in recent years, there has been an increase in agricultural productivity in the Russian Federation. The conducted assessment of the dynamics and factor analysis of investments and gross production confirmed the existence of a clear relationship between these indicators with a high level of reliability. The trends and factors that have a decisive influence on the formation of net investment, which ultimately form the investment potential, have been identified. A grouping of regions was carried out, showing that an increase in net investment is accompanied by an increase in investment activity indicators and leads to an increase in gross production in agricultural organizations. The features of modern agriculture are identified, characterized by a number of positive trends that determine the possibilities of its economic growth, and at the same time by a number of negative ones that pose threats to sustainable development. The objectives of improving the regulation of investment activity for agriculture are formulated.
