GOVERNMENT INCENTIVES FOR GREEN INVESTMENTS

This article examines the essence of green investments as part of a green economy, a tool for sustainable development that allows for economic growth while preserving the environment. The types of green investments have been identified: public and private. Foreign experience in the implementation of such investments has been studied, and ongoing programs in this regard have been reviewed. The Russian experience in the application of green investments in the national economy and their impact on it has also been studied. The problems that slow down the further spread of green investments in Russia have been identified.
