Our view on the age periodization of human ontogenesis

In our country, when assessing passport age, the scheme of age periodization of human ontogenesis proposed in 1965 is used, providing for the identification of 12 different age periods of life. Over the past 60 years, life expectancy in Russia has increased and, at the same time as the passport age increases, the number of "accumulated" somatic diseases, especially in the second mature and subsequent periods of ontogenesis, rises. Using the example of the period of the second mature (36-55 years) and elderly (56-70 years) age in women with comorbid pathology (CP), the authors for the first time in domestic clinical practice showed the age dynamics of changes in their functional state. Two groups of women of the specified age were examined, conditionally divided into equal 5-year life segments. The study group (SG) included women with CP, and the control group (CG) consisted of their peers who did not have the diseases diagnosed in SG. It has been shown that even within only one period of ontogenesis, differences in the functional state of the central hemodynamics are noted.
