The Current Status and Reflections on the Cultivation of Master's Degree Talents in Braille Education: A Case Study of Beijing Union University

In 2023, Beijing Union University launched China's first Master's program in Special Education with a concentration in Braille Education. Through in-depth interviews, this study examines key dimensions of talent cultivation, including curriculum design, learning experiences, and career planning. The findings suggest that the curriculum requires a stronger focus on Braille education's core needs, professional development objectives must be reinforced through targeted vocational training and inclusive education needs further expansion and improvement.
