PROJECT-BASED APPROACHES TO CREATIVEPROBLEM SOLVING IN CHEMISTRY LESSONS ANDTHEIR IMPACT ON STUDENT ENGAGEMENT
This study explores the impact of integrating project-based learning (PBL) and creative problem-solving strategies in secondary-level chemistry education. It aims to enhance student engagement, conceptual understanding, and collaboration by designing authentic, real-world tasks.Through a mixed-method approach, the study compared experimental and control groups and found that students engaged in PBL exhibited greater motivation, deeper content mastery, and improved scientific reasoning. The findings align with constructivist theories, emphasizing the value of inquiry-based and interdisciplinary learning in fostering meaningful educational outcomes and preparing students for real-world scientific challenges.
