Exploring the role of artificial intelligence in skin cancer management: perspectives from UK dermatologists
In this study, we explore the perspectives of UK dermatologists regarding the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools into the management of skin cancer. Based on the findings of a cross-sectional survey, we identify key benefits, concerns and implementation challenges associated with the adoption of AI in dermatology. Our findings underscore the need for clear guidelines to ensure AI complements clinical expertise while mitigating risks such as healthcare disparities and medicolegal challenges.
