O papel do professor no processo de inclusão escolar dos alunos com transtorno do espectro autista

This study, entitled "The Role of the Teacher in the School Inclusion Process for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder," addresses an extremely important topic in the school context. Through these discussions, we understand that innovative and inclusive methodologies are a fundamental part of the teaching and learning process. Therefore, our overall objective is to analyze the role of the teacher in the school inclusion process, as we know that many teachers still feel unprepared to serve these students who require a differentiated approach. The specific objectives are: to conceptualize school inclusion; to examine how the inclusion of students with autism spectrum disorder is implemented; and to present the main difficulties teachers encounter in this inclusion process. The methodology used in this work was bibliographic research, with the help of Google Scholar, search engines on the proposed topic, articles published in conference proceedings, and Master's and Doctoral Dissertations and Theses. In general, based on the results found in this study, it was possible to identify essential methodological tools in the teaching-learning and inclusion process.
