ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE HYBRID SYSTEMS FOR MODERN CONSTRUCTION

The article addresses the issue of implementing environmentally sustainable technologies in modern construction, considering the context of global climate change, natural resource scarcity, and the significant amount of construction waste generated due to military aggression against Ukraine. The authors propose an innovative approach to developing resource-efficient hybrid timber-concrete architectural and structural systems based on the use of prefabricated elements from industrial production. These systems are designed for the construction of multi-story buildings with various functional purposes, such as residential, public, educational, and social facilities. The main focus of the research is the combination of properties of different materials, particularly timber as a natural renewable resource and concrete with recycled aggregates, which helps reduce the environmental impact of the construction. The use of secondary raw materials obtained from construction waste promotes the creation of a closed lifecycle for construction products and reduces waste volumes. A distinctive feature of the proposed system is its adaptability to various architectural and planning solutions. The use of prefabricated elements ensures high-speed assembly, geometric precision, and the ability to construct buildings under various conditions. The authors provide recommendations for designing buildings using the proposed system, particularly for educational institutions, youth centers, and residential buildings. The system was tested through the development of an architectural and planning solution for a multifunctional youth center. The project incorporates modern architectural solutions, such as glass facades that provide natural lighting and energy efficiency, as well as the integration of safety capsules to protect the population in case of emergencies. The research results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed hybrid system for modern construction, aligning with the requirements of sustainable development and environmental standards. The implementation of such technologies will contribute to the efficient reconstruction of Ukraine's infrastructure, reduction of construction waste, and the creation of a comfortable and safe environment.
