APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY
This article presents the role of artificial intelligence in the oil industry. The oil and gas industry is a key sector of the global economy and also one of the most competitive industries since it consists of a variety of companies and organizations involved in the exploration, production, processing and supply of oil and gas. This sector is evolving and adapting to new realities, despite the challenges it encounters, such as declining oil prices and the increasing competition from renewable energy sources. Computer and related technologies have transformed nearly every known field of humanity in the last decades with applications and products that have enhanced the lives and livelihoods of the planet. The role of intelligent systems in the twenty-first century in education, business, industry, and research and development confirmed the fallacies that computers have replaced humans in the workplace because many artificial intelligence innovations and applications have surpassed humans with high precision levels and productivity in problems that humans cannot solve. AI is the most powerful tool for the oil industry development. The AI system preprocess and performs complex analyzation on the data from various sources to determine the regions most likely to hold oil deposits. It is therefore the case at the moment, the demand for the development of the oil and gas complex new ways of creation of the oil and gas complex. Hence, the article focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) within the context of the Oil industry, their sustainability in the Oil industry and its potential impact on the Oil Sector. Keywords: artificial intelligence,ML,automation, optimization, oil industry.
