CONTRIBUTION OF STANDARDIZATION TO GLOBAL AND LOCAL DEVELOPMENT: THE ROLE OF STANDARDS FOR A GREEN FUTURE, IN THE WORLD AND IN TÜRKIYE.

Standardization is a global system that aims to provide quality, safety and efficiency in production and services. This process both accelerates economic development and makes significant contributions to sustainable development goals. Standardization plays a critical role in areas such as environmentally friendly production and energy efficiency, especially in the construction of a green world. The contributions of standardization to development worldwide and in Türkiye are examined in terms of economic, environmental and social dimensions. In this report, the benefits of standardization to development on a global and Turkish scale and its contributions to a green world will be discussed, supported by numerical data and graphics.
