Process Parameters Optimization of Sewage Treatment Plant Based on Long Term Forecast
Sewage treatment plant is a complex industrial system with long flow and long lag, and the adjustment of process parameters during sewage treatment can suppress water pollution and reduce operation cost. Currently, the traditional PID control method is usually used in the process parameter control problem of sewage treatment plant, which is applicable to most of the industrial production scenarios, but it performs poorly in dealing with complex nonlinear control problems with multiple inputs and multiple outputs. For this reason, this paper introduces a model predictive control method to provide a process parameter control scheme for the current sewage treatment scenario for a future period of time on the basis of long-time predictive control, which can provide an early response to the possible arrival of the pollution situation and effectively avoid the problem of higher production costs due to the delay of physical or chemical reactions. Simulation results based on the BSM1 benchmark model show that the proposed long-time predictive control method based on trajectory matching can effectively reduce the operating cost of sewage treatment plants and suppress water pollution situations.
