Research and design of PFC stage of voltage regulator based on low voltage management
Due to the long power supply radius of rural power grid, the problem of low voltage is becoming more and more serious in recent years. This will lead to residents’ household appliances can not be used normally, affecting normal life. To solve this problem, a voltage doubling Boost PFC rectifier circuit is used in the front end of the voltage regulator designed in this study, which aims to output stable DC bus voltage and improve power factor. Through Matlab/Simulink simulation and hardware design, it is verified that the power factor correction of the designed regulator has excellent performance.
