Design and Stability Analysis of State Estimator for Networked 2-D Systems under Codec Protocol with Data Loss

This paper addresses the design of a state estimator for networked 2-D systems under a codec protocol, particularly in scenarios where data loss occurs. To mitigate the effects of channel obstructions, which can lead to the loss of input and output information, we propose a method that compensates for these losses, thereby addressing the issue of inaccurate state estimation due to insufficient data. To ensure the control stability of the original system and the accuracy of the state estimation, we formulate a linear matrix inequality (LMI) and derive sufficient conditions for both the system’s stability and the stability of the state estimation. Finally, the effectiveness and rationality of the designed state estimator are validated through simulations.
