Resonance suppression method of voltage in electrolytic capacitorless PMSM driving system
This thesis explores a capacitor-free motor drive architecture that replaces bulky, short-lived electrolytic capacitors with film or ceramic alternatives to enhance power density, reliability, and cost efficiency. The study addresses the resulting voltage resonance issues by applying a virtual impedance active damping strategy on an electronic water pump driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Simulation results demonstrate that this approach reduces total harmonic distortion by over $\mathbf{1 2 \%}$.
