Output feedback L1 control design for positive systems using dynamic event-triggered mechanism

This paper addresses the design of an output feedback L<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">1</inf> controller for a class of positive linear systems utilizing the dynamic event-triggered mechanism (DETM). Firstly, to save communication resources, a DETM with an internal dynamic variable is proposed to reduce the signal sampling frequency. Based on this, a closed-loop positive system is constructed. Then, sufficient conditions are provided to ensure that the system satisfies positivity and exponential stability with L<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">1</inf>-gain performance. Subsequently, by applying matrix decomposition techniques to the controller gain matrix, an output feedback L<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">1</inf> control scheme in linear programming (LP) form is designed to meet the performance requirements. Finally, an example is provided to verify the validity of the results.

Abstract

This paper addresses the design of an output feedback L<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">1</inf> controller for a class of positive linear systems utilizing the dynamic event-triggered mechanism (DETM).
