Enhancing Sales Agent Efficiency in Columbarium Services: A Design of a Web-Based Portal and Dashboard Integration with Map System and Integrated Virtual Tour

With the surge in cremation rates, especially amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, effective management of columbariums has become imperative. This paper presents a solution to address the existing gap in cemetery management systems by proposing a comprehensive web-based solution explicitly tailored for columbariums. Building upon insights from previous studies and gap analyses, the research introduces a Web-based Portal and Dashboard Integration with Mapping System and Virtual Tour designed for Shepherd's Garden of Resurrection Columbarium in the Philippines. The system aims to streamline various aspects, including sales tracking, vault reservation, and client guidance. The paper detailed the researchers' process of conducting functionality testing to identify and rectify errors in the developed web application, followed by usability testing that achieved a score of 78, which is deemed to have achieved a “Good” level of usability in its final testing phase; and cross-browser testing to ensure smooth navigation, task completion, and compatibility across various browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera GX, and Mozilla Firefox. The study underscores the significance of this initiative in revolutionizing the death care industry by digitizing records, enhancing user experience, and improving sales efficiency.
