Event-Triggered Voltage Control Strategies for Distribution Networks
The traditional cycle-triggered control scheme suffers from high communication cost and frequent actions. A novel adaptive event-triggered voltage control strategy is introduced, enabling dynamic adjustments to the transmission threshold based on the voltage state. The approach initiates information exchange only when the voltage fluctuation exceeds a defined limit, which is adaptively adjusted to minimize communication redundancy and decrease the frequency of inverter operations. Taking into account the inverter's reactive power limitations and transmission delays, the controller design principle is formulated using the Lyapunov function, and the proposed approach's performance is confirmed through computational experiments.
