Underwater Optical Wireless Communication System with Internet of Underwater Topologies
This survey of literature examines the application of TBS Crossfire TX/RX in underwater communication systems, comparing it to conventional communication systems to assess its effectiveness and performance. Underwater communication encounters various obstacles such as signal attenuation, noise, and absorption loss, all of which contribute to the degradation of signal quality over distance. TBS Crossfire, initially designed for terrestrial communication, has displayed potential for adaptation in underwater settings due to its robust frequency-hopping technology and long-range capabilities. The survey's focal point is an extensive examination of underwater communication techniques, encompassing acoustic, optical, and electromagnetic methods, as evidenced in the cited papers. By utilizing equations like Shannon's capacity theorem, absorption loss models, and signal propagation formulas, the survey establishes a comparative framework between TBS Crossfire and traditional systems. In particular, the survey delves into TBS Crossfire's capacity to uphold high data rates and reliable communication over extended distances through numerical analysis and graphical representations.
