The Design and Experimental Study of a MegawattScale Alkaline Electrolysis Hydrogen Production Digital Twin

This paper focuses on the key technologies and applications of large-scale renewable energy coupled hydrogen production in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou, with an emphasis on the design and development of a megawatt-scale optimization control simulation system for alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production. To address the challenge of studying adaptability to large power fluctuations in actual alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production systems, a digital twin simulation platform and a corresponding PLC optimization control system were designed and implemented. The system simulates and controls the entire hydrogen production process, and a series of experiments were conducted to validate its effectiveness and feasibility.
