The Doppler-Smoothed Pseudo-Range Reconstruction Method for Single-Frequency Based on Ionospheric Delay Variation Correction
This paper addresses the issue of declining positioning accuracy in single-frequency smoothed pseudo-range algorithms under the influence of ionospheric delay variations by proposing an ionospheric delay variation model based on reconstructed Doppler. Building upon this model, the paper introduces a single-frequency reconstructed Doppler smoothed pseudo-range algorithm with ionospheric delay correction. The algorithm leverages the precise ability of reconstructed Doppler to reflect the trend of carrier phase changes, thereby constructing an ionospheric delay variation model. This effectively eliminates epoch-to-epoch ionospheric delay variations and enhances smoothing quality. Subsequently, the paper proposes and implements the single-frequency reconstructed Doppler smoothed pseudo-range algorithm with ionospheric delay correction, evaluating its smoothing performance through static positioning experiments. Finally, the positioning accuracy of the proposed algorithm is compared with that of the single-frequency pseudo-range single-point positioning algorithm and the dual-frequency reconstructed Doppler smoothed pseudo-range algorithm through experimental comparisons. The experimental results demonstrate that, compared to the single-frequency pseudo-range single-point positioning algorithm, the positioning error of the proposed algorithm is reduced by 45%; and compared to the dual-frequency reconstructed Doppler smoothed pseudo-range algorithm, the positioning error is reduced by 49%.
