AIS Based Method for Identifying Abnormal Behavior of Submarine Cable Pipeline Construction Ships

The illegal and irregular use of the sea in the construction of submarine cable pipelines is prominent, and problems such as unauthorized exploration and laying are becoming increasingly acute. In response to the problem that regulatory authorities find it difficult to achieve real-time supervision of submarine cable pipeline construction around the clock and with full coverage, this article is based on AIS virtual electronic fence and other technologies are used to construct an intelligent recognition model for abnormal behavior of construction ships, achieving intelligent recognition of abnormal behavior of submarine cable pipeline construction ships. In response to the problem of difficult supervision of submarine cable pipeline survey ships, a linear clustering algorithm based on ship position turning angle is proposed to intelligently recognize the behavior of survey ships, providing support and guarantee for the development, utilization and protection of marine resources.
