Chinese Urban fingerprint construction and analysis based on multilayer network and overlap census methods

Based on the newly proposed multilayer network analysis and overlap census methods, urban fingerprint of main cities in China are constructed and analyzed. Classification and comparison based on constructed urban fingerprint are carried out on details. City cluster analysis based on calculated individual city fingerprint revealed some inherent correlation between those cities. Six types of city cluster are obtained and compared with each other. All network characters are also calculated for further clustering analysis and comparison. The related government can provide some reference form these clustering features during city transporting designing of related cities’ development strategies based our research results.
