Fixed-time Output-Feedback Stabilization for A Class of Planar Nonlinear Systems Based on Dual-dynamic Gains

This investigation, which aims to realize the fixed-time stabilizing control for the controlled planar nonlinear systems by using output-feedback, is conducted. Dual-dynamic gains, whose dynamics are established in stabilizing control framework, are used to construct the fixed-time dynamic-gains-based observer, and a switched dynamic-gains-based stabilizer, which is established under the backstepping method, is acted on the controlled system to accomplish the aimed fixed-time output-feedback stabilizing control. A switched Lyapunov function candidate (LFC), whose structure is appeared in stability analysis, is used to verify the successive fixed-time convergence of the states existed in formulating closed-loop system. Lastly, a simulation, which pursues fixed-time stabilizing control for a ship system, is carried out to reflect the efficiency of the presented control method.
